Year-Round News & Updates on the Minnesota Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves set a 4pmCT deadline, in a final, last-ditch effort to try and work out a sign-and-trade with the Trailblazers. Four o'clock came and went and no deal had been reached, so David Kahn FINALLY submitted the offer sheet.
The Portland Trailblazers now have three days to match, which means they'll have until Wednesday July 18th at 11:59pmCT. I'd expect them to wait the full three days, until they match (or don't...potentially). If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on the Blazers matching. They had all these chances to perform a sign-and-trade (where they could've gotten picks, prospects, Williams) and there's no way that they decline to match and get nothing in return. With the offer sheet signed and submitted, there's no possibility they could still try and work out a sign-and-trade. That's all for now, thanks for reading HOWL and GO WOLVES!
