Kevin Love will make his second consecutive appearance at the All-Star Game. All-Star weekend takes place in Orlando, later this month. That's not all though--he'll also be participating in the Three-Point Contest! When asked about his chances in the three-point contest, Love said: "I think I got a good shot at anything I do. I'm a pretty competitive guy." Love was selected by Western Conference coaches as a reserve. If you remember last season--he was selected by Commissioner David Stern as an injury-replacement to Yao Ming. In last season's all-star game, he came off the bench and played about 12 minutes and scored two points and grabbed four rebounds on the West team that won last year in L.A. Love finished fifth among Western Conference forwards and was beaten out by the Clippers' Blake Griffin & the Thunder's Kevin Durant. I can safely say I'm VERY surprised Dirk Nowitzki made the all-star game after the slowest start of his NBA career! Furthermore--I'd say the Rockets' Kyle Lowry should've been an all-star in Steve Nash's place--granted Nash still leads the NBA in assists. Ricky Rubio was also in the conversation--though he still has a small chance if someone or a couple players get injured in the next few weeks.
