The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without their leading scorer for the next 6-8 weeks as he recovers from surgery on his fractured wrist.
The injury was occurred during that game against the Knicks. It happened in the first quarter, though Martin played through it and finished the night with 37 points, while helping the Wolves to a win, snapping their five-game losing streak. With Martin out, more time will likely go to Andrew Wiggins, Shabazz Muhammad, Corey Brewer and Chase Budinger.
