Some other miscellaneous notes...
- Owner Glen Taylor expects Ricky Rubio to return by December 15th.
- The lawyers for the TWolves & the Blazers are still working on the Wolves receiving some sort of compensation for Martell Webster. The TWolves are claiming the Blazers knew he was 'damaged goods' prior to the trade that sent the 16th pick (Luke Babbitt) & Ryan Gomes (later waived) to Portland on draft night. It's sounding as though the compensation will either be monetary or in the form of a draft pick.
- After Friday's game, it looks as though Dante Cunningham is in the lead to take over the starting power forward spot, with Kevin Love down. Dante had a solid 12-point, 3-rebound, 3-steal night (in 25 minutes, as the starter). Though, they'll certainly need more rebounds from him. Williams disappointed in that one, in 24 minutes (off the bench), D-Will finished with 5pts, 3reb, 1ast, 1blk and 2-for-6 from the field. Williams has plenty of time (two games) to change Coach's mind, he'll likely be the starter in one of those two preseason games upcoming (I wouldn't be surprised if Adelman started Budinger & Kirilenko at the forwards in the other).
- Owner Glen Taylor says he's willing to add payroll if Adelman/Kahn sell him on a free agent.
That's all for now, thanks for reading HOWL and GO WOLVES!
