Year-Round News & Updates on the Minnesota Timberwolves
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley has had recent allegations against him--first reported by the Washington Post.
Beasley says in a lawsuit that his former agent gave him and his mother improper benefits during his one season of college basketball at Kansas State. Beasley has filed a countersuit in a Maryland court, one month ago, in reponse to agent Joel Bell's wrongful termination lawsuit against him. According to Michael, when he was just 14 and playing in AAU, Bell conspired with his AAU coach to forge a relationship with the budding star in hopes that when he made it to the big time--the NBA, Bell could cash in on the 'relationship'. Beasley says Bell gave his mother living expenses and paid for her to move to Manhattan, Kansas when Michael was playing for Kansas State. More details to come, thanks for reading and stay tuned as we've got a few new stories coming the next few days, such as the World Tour that Love is involved in, Allen Iverson's weekend tourney that Derrick Williams will participate in and more!
