Love & Rubio w/familiar Pose on Slam Magazine Cover

Kevin Love & Ricky Rubio graced the cover of Slam Magazine in their current issue.  Much like the Timberwolves giving a nod to the ABA Minnesota Muskies with their hardwood classics uniforms on select games this season, Love & Rubio struck a familiar pose as a nod to the best TWolves duo in Minnesota history: Kevin Garnett & Stephon Marbury.

KG & Marbury may currently be the best duo in TWolves history, but these next few years, I think we can count on Kevin & Ricky taking that honor!

All in all, it was a cool throwback cover for SLAM and some good recognition for the Timberwolves as they've certainly surprised with their improved play--the Wolves are, right now, tied for the 8th seed in the Western Conference with the Houston Rockets.
